Buyer questions
Use these answers to prepare a clearer brief and compare like-for-like proposals. Final construction and production terms are confirmed against the approved specification.
Provide a drawing with the relaxed length, width and finished shape, plus the seam or attachment allowance where relevant. State whether the measurement is for one finished component or a length of trim. Include the garment size range and any required grading.
Compare the sample with the garment for colour, hand feel, dimensions and recovery. Assess the sewn component after the intended care cycle and record any agreed changes. Confirm the fibre blend and test conditions rather than relying only on the product photograph.
Component checks are useful, but final approval should also consider the joined garment, because seam construction, body fabric, size, wear and care can change fit and appearance.
